Applying Your Decal - The Hinge Method
We recommend using the Hinge Method for larger decals. Hinging at the top of the decal allows you to position your artwork and then work slowly from the center, outwards and downwards using your squeegee to ensure a smooth application.
You could also hinge vertically through the decal, peeling the backing paper off one side first, cutting it away and applying it separately before working on the other side.
The video below illustrates the hinge method (hinging along the top) to apply your decal. In the video it is used for a small decal but we would usually recommend the hinge method for larger decals that are difficult to apply.
